Inuyasha Fanfiction (After The Final Act Series) Chap. 1

Chapter 1 "A New Beginning"

 

This morning was very bright and refreshing. And the sun was brighter and warmer. The clouds form a wide variety of beautiful reliefs. Chill envelops the village. The birds chirp tunable in a tree branch. The villagers began to work in the fields. And the voices of the children of the villagers heard. The morning was really quite peaceful.
Seeing from a distance at the top of a hill, a priestess watched the villagers and children who had started the day. The priestess watching around the village, see if there is a danger that threatens the village. She's keeping the village safe from harm. Her intentions are very noble. Each day, the priestess surround the village and observe from a distance if there is a sudden attack of a demon. The Priestess, named Kagome.
Everyone in the village knew the origin of the priestess Kagome, a girl who comes from the future, and live in the Feudal Era. A priestess who defeat the demon Naraku and destroy the Shikon jewel. Of course, she couldn't have done it without her friends. Sango, the courageous demon slayer. Miroku, the monk who is very intelligent, and in the palm of his right hand are the curse of the Wind Tunnel. Shippou, a young fox demon. Kirara, Sango's companion, a demon cat. And Inuyasha, a half-demon who has a very powerful sword called Tetsusaiga. Together, they defeat their most powerful enemy, Naraku. Everyone in the village respect and appreciate Kagome, but that does not make her arrogant. She loves to play with the children of the villagers and especially spending time with her friends.

"Hmm...the village is fine." muttered Kagome. She seems enjoyed the view from up the hills. The wind was blowing breeze made ​​Kagome's hair blowing in the cool. Nature calling her name. "Well, the children seems to enjoy the day," she said, while grabbing her bow and quiver of arrows. Once she believes that the situation is safe, she decided to stop by a friend's house.

The villages was very peace. And she loves the way children playing all day. It makes her heart feels happy to hear the joyful sounds.

Kagome's POV

It's been 4 years, after that battle between us and Naraku. And now, the feudal era is finally free from his grasp. My name, is Kagome. I used to be your average ninth-grader, until I discovered a hidden well inside a secret shrine behind my house. I never really want to go inside that creepy well, until mistress centipede pull me into the well, and into the warring states era. I never really imagine it, I ended up bringing the shikon jewel to the most dangerous place on the whole universe. In this era, I met my friend, Inuyasha the half demon dog. Shippou, the young fox demon. Miroku, the lecherous monk, and Sango, the demon slayer. And together, we pursuit for the sacred jewel shard and made a lot of enemies, and of course that includes Naraku. That dreadful demon, Naraku. He pursuit the same thing like us, the sacred jewel. And I gotta tell ya...impossible things happened in this era. A ressurected priestess, dangerous demon, and even a faceless man (eps. 69). And finally, after waiting for the perfect moment, the final battle is upon us. Naraku, using the whole formed sacred jewel against us. But we are not easily to defeat, we all includes Kohaku and Sesshomaru (Inuyasha's brother), join forces to defeats Naraku. And we've reached our goal, Naraku was defeated, Miroku's wind tunnel has disappeared and the shikon jewel is finally destroyed. But when the last moment happened, Naraku made a wish on the shikon jewel. And it was just the beginning. I was trapped in the darkness by the shikon jewel for three days. And after Inuyasha save me, the well stopped working. I was forced to live in my own era, for three long years, without my friends, and Inuyasha. I've waited for the moment, when the well granted my wish. I can return to the feudal era. I've made a decision, I have choose to stay with Inuyasha and my friends. And when I return, everything has changed. I mean....literally...Miroku and Sango have the most beautiful twins and a baby boy, Shippou continued his training in the fox demon academy to become full-fledged fox demon, Kohaku trained with Master Totosai to become a brave demon slayer like his big sister, Rin is staying in the village, Kaede said so that one day she can make a choice, whether to stay with Sesshomaru or continued living in the village. And finally me. I've trained to become a great priestess with Kaede and Jinenji, so that I could protect the village, just like Kikyo. And...I spend everyday with my husband, Inuyasha. We've been married for a year now. And tomorrow, is the anniversary of our marriage. The point is, I love living here, with the villagers and my family.

Finally, she arrived at the place. At Miroku and Sango's hut. She liked to spend some time with Sango, while Inuyasha is exorcising with Miroku. When she entered the hut, she received a warm welcome from her best friend. "Kagome!" said Sango, smiling happily. It seems like, she was holding her son. "Lady Kagome!" exclaimed the twins. "Hi Sango! Hi girls!" replied Kagome, hugging the twins. "Where were you? I was kinda worried," Sango asked. "I was guarding the village, you know if there's a demon lurking from shadows, besides, I can handle those demons myself." answered Kagome. "I know, you can handle that. But I dont think Inuyasha is going to let you fought battle by yourself. Every time when you were harvesting herbs or taking care some village bussiness without him knowing, I was the first person questioned by Inuyasha." explained Sango. Kagome giggled a little. "I know...sometimes that guy is to overprotective of me," said Kagome. "Well, you can't blame the guy. He's always worried about you. He's always thinking of you, when you're gone for three years ago," said Sango, smiling to her best friend. Kagome replied the smile, "I know,"

Kagome and Sango turned their heads to see the twins, and found the twins are gone. "Oh no!" exclaimed Sango. "Where are they?!" Kagome panicked too, but she tried to calm herself and calm the mother of the twins. Both of them looked for the twins inside the hut, but the twins was no where to be found. "Sango, stay here with Haru! I'll go find Akari and Yoona!" said Kagome, walking out from the hut. "Be careful!" said Sango, while calming her crying newborn baby. Kagome rushed her path to the forest of Inuyasha, carrying her bows and arrows, and searching for the twins.

In other circumstances......

A monk and a half demon make their way towards the village while carrying large bags of rice. "Keh," Inuyasha scoffed. "This time you went too far, you greedy monk! This is too much for the payment," said Inuyasha, feels annoyed to the monk. "Now, now Inuyasha...you dont expect money would fall from the sky, would you?" said the innocent looking monk. Inuyasha said nothing but growled. Bu then he sighed. "Hey Miroku! What do you think  Kagome and Sango are doing?" asked Inuyasha. There was a little worried on his voice. "Do not worry my friend. Knowing them, Sango is probably busy taking care of the children and Kagome is probably guarding the village or visiting Sango." explained Miroku. Inuyasha sighed again. "Well, I hope you are right. I hate if something bad happened at the village" said him, while picturing Kagome holding her bow and arrow.

"Hey you guyz!!!" said someone. Suddenly, there was a pink strange talking balloon, floating upon them. "Hey Shippo! Back from training huh?" asked Inuyasha. "Yup! I got promoted to rank 21!" said Shippo flaunting his achievement. "Well done Shippo," said Miroku, praising the young kitsune. "You and Inuyasha are back from exorcism huh?" asked Shippo. "Yes, we are" answered Miroku, while holding his staff. "So, is it hard?" ask the young kitsune again. "Nah! It's just a weak toad demon, no big deal!" Inuyasha underestimating. Miroku sighed. "Well, at least they payed us decently," said him. Seeing the large bags of rice, Shippo whispered something to Inuyasha. "He swindled them, is he?" ask Shippo. "Yup," Inuyasha whispered back. The three boys walked towards the village to see their loved ones.

Meanwhile, Kagome was still searching for the twins. She encountered some demons, but she was able to purify them. She was listening closely for the sound of their laughter. But, she didn't hear anything. Just as she was about to continued, she heard a splashing sound from a lake, not far from where she stands. She decided to go near the lake. When she arrived at the lake, all she saw was two little girl, playing water splash in the lake. One girl wearing green kimono. And the other one wearing pink kimono. Kagome just shook her head. "Akari....Yoona..." called her. The two little girls turn their head and saw Kagome standing, with her hands on her hips. "You girls had your mother and me worried," said Kagome, while hugging them. "We're sorry Lady Kagome, we didin't mean to run away," said Yoona. "Yes, we were just, trying to find some fresh air," Akari tried to reasoned. Kagome giggled. "Fresh air huh? or maybe fresh water?" said Kagome, she splash the lake water with her hands towards the twin, and vice versa. The three of them laughing fun, enjoying the fresh water from the lake. But then suddenly, Kagome sensed something wrong. She sensed a demonic aura. "Girls...hide!" warned Kagome. "What's wrong?" asked Akari, she was a little bit panicked. "Is something the matter?" Same as Yoona. Then, Kagome sensed a quick move. "Girls, please...go back to the village, now!" ordered Kagome, and then suddenly there was something cames out from the lake. "I should've know..." Kagome murmered. A gigantic sized demon serpent came out from the lake. Akari and Yoona was so terrified, they can't even say a word. "Aahhh....what do we have here.., two mere mortal kids and one mere priestess, what fortunate I am to have lunch such as these." teased the demon serpent. Kagome stood in front of Akari and Yoona to protect them. Kagome aiming her arrow towards the demon serpent. "Akari, Yoona...please go!! I'll catch up soon!" exclaimed Kagome, while she shoots her arrow. 
Akari and Yoona run as fast as their leg can carry them. Leaving Kagome behind, they're running towards the village.


Back at the village...
The boys almost arrived at the village, but then suddenly they felt something strange. Miroku was the one who felt it first. "Inuyasha..." he murmured. Inuyasha and Shippo turn their heads towards Miroku. "What's wrong?" asked Shippo, he's a little panicked. "Dont you sense it?" asked Miroku with full of cautious. Inuyasha nodded. Shippo feels confused. "What's going on here?!" Now, Shippo's more panicked. "There's a strong demonic aura," explained Miroku. "And...It's coming from the village!!" exclaimed Inuyasha. Miroku and Inuyasha without hesitation, continued running, but faster. 
Finally, they were able to reached the village right in time. When they were inside the village, they met Sango, and she was running panickly, trying to find something, or someone. "Sango!!" called Miroku. "Miroku!! You're back!" with heavily breath, Sango said. "What's going on Sango? Where is Kagome?!" ask Inuyasha. "Kagome..she was looking for Yoona and Akari!!" said Sango, while carrying her baby. Miroku and Inuyasha stands there in shocked. "What do you mean, 'looking for Yoona and Akari'? They're missing?!" asked Inuyasha again. This time, Sango just nodded. "We have to look for them, let's split up!" said Miroku. All of them nodded in unison. But, just when they started looking, they founded the twins, laying down under a tree, exhausted after running.
All of them shocked. "Akari?! Yoona?! Thank heaven you both alright!" Sango shook the twins body, when they came to. "Mommy.." the twins hugged their mother. Miroku smiled at them. And then, he hugged them. "Daddy.." called Akari. "Are you both okay?" asked Inuyasha. The twins nodded.
But then, something seems to bother Sango and Inuyasha. "Hey wait a minute, Sango..you said that Kagome is gone looking for them, where is she?!" asked Inuyasha (sheeesshh....this guy is totally paranoid). "Lady Ka..Ka..Kagome is.." the twins tried to hold their tears, and that made Inuyasha more paranoid. "Girls, can daddy ask you what happen?" asked Miroku, he tried to calm their emotion down. "We were playing at a lake when Lady Kagome find us.." Yoona starts explaining. "But the, she told us to hide and run," she said again. "Lady Kagome said, she sensed something, something bad.." said Akari. "Then we have to save Kagome!" exclaimed Inuyasha. Miroku nodded. "Sango, take care of the children!" said Miroku, while holding his staff.
